LEAVE, ABSENCE, WITHDRAWAL


 


 


 


 


1. In this Almanac one form has been provided concerning leave. Only those ought to be used, not letters. Leave record is meant to be used by parents/guardians only and not by students.


 


2. A student who remains absent without getting the leave sanctioned should upon returning to the school bring proper entry in the ‘LEAVE RECORD’.


 


3. Leave will be granted only in case of illness and in exceptional case. Valid reasons must be given in writing for absence from school. Absence of students from class for merely family functions is entirely discouraged.


 


4.Attendance is compulsory on Independence Day and Republic Day.


 


5. In case of absence from the school without information or permission a fine of Rs 1.00 per day will be charged. If a student remains absent from school for a period of one month or more without prior permission, his/her admission will be canceled temporarily which can be reinstated on payment of Rs. 500.00.


 


6. The students appearing in the Board Examinations for Classes X and XII should have a minimum attendance of 75%. Any student having less than 75% attendance may not be allowed to take examination as a regular candidate.


 


7. A calendar month’s notice must be given in writing before a child is withdrawn from the school in mid session of two month’s fee has to be paid in lieu of notice.


 


 8. Application to withdraw a child from the school must be submitted in the office latest by 10th April every year or else two month’s tuition fee has to be paid after the due date.
